This spring, David Bazan did a solo acoustic tour of house shows, to make some money while he waited for the promotion machine to get rolling on his new album (out Sept. 1.) On April 9th, he played at our house in Milwaukee, WI. I asked David if I could tape the show, and he said I could as long as I edited out any of the Q&A stuff he usually does if I were to put it online. I hadn't actually considered doing that until he suggested it, but sure! So here it is, in mid-fi quality:

It's a wonderful show, he's a great guy, and you should buy his new album Curse Your Branches, as well as see him when he comes to your town.
